November MoMo

Well what an incredible turn out we had for the Investment Edition over 130 people! We also hear a couple of potential investment deals were discussed on the night, what a result. Thank you to all for attending and we hope to see more events like that in the future.

So next Monday we thought we would turn the spotlight on you! (yes you over there skulking in the corner) and open it up to the floor for an extend Momo’jo session! This is your chance to shine and show the community at large what your business is all about and discuss what you’d like to see in the future. There are more details in the events section below.

We have some very special guests this month! Joining us will be delegates on a trade mission from Hong Kong who have kindly offered to put up a small bar tab! As a special treat we’ll speak to John Chiu the chairman of the Honk Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association and organiser of Mobile Monday HK!!

The last panel for the year

This month will also see your momo team on the panel. After all Momo is a community effort and it’s been a very big year for everyone involved as we’ve grown the industry together. As November will be the last panel event for 2008 we thought it fitting that the Momo organisers are on the last panel so we can reflect on the year that was you can offer feedback and we can discuss what you all want to see in the future. It’s your Momo!

Momo’jo

You’ve also told us you want more opportunity to network and learn about what each other is up to, well now is your chance. This month we are holding an extended momo’jo session where you will have the 5mins to showcase to the community what you’re up to in the mobile space. So use this is as chance to show off some of the great content you’re working on and receive peer review (we’re all friends here). Are you developing a new application or game? Why not tell us about it and even test it on a ready and willing audience. This is your time to shine and let us know what your all about.

The format is simple 5mins presenting & 5mins of Q&A, that’s it and be warned if you go over your 5mins we will stop you! So come prepared cause we’ll also be calling on people from the audience…
